ACTIVITY ROLES
Activity Manager (AM)
The Activity Manager is responsible for the overall smooth running of the activity and excursion programme. The AM will facilitate a positive and fun environment for the students.
Main remit of this managerial role:
Manage the activity team and complete weekly rota and timesheets for staff
Liaise with group leaders to coordinate excursion itineraries
Oversee activity team duties like meal times and student arrivals/departures
Safeguarding & Welfare Officers are responsible for the safeguarding and overall welfare of students. This person is responsible for the safety of students and staff as a Designated Safeguarding Person.
Main remit of this managerial role:
Oversee accommodation administration
Oversee effective health and safety, risk assessment and risk management procedures
Liaise with students, group leaders when students are unwell
ANGLO Leaders are responsible for leading a variety of sports, creative activities and student workshops, acting as a guide on trips to places of interest, and running evening events such as talent shows, themed discos, quiz nights. ALs need to be ready to chat with students, encourage them to use their English skills.
Main remit of this role:
Develop and lead engaging activities
Lead Full and Half day excursions
Supervise the students during their stay, ensuring their safety at all times

Teaching Managers are responsible for the overall smooth running of the EFL teaching programme at their ANGLO centre. The main role is to supervise and support a team of Academic Staff, ensuring the safe operation of the academic programme for both students and staff.
Main remit of this managerial role:
Manage and train the teaching team and complete timesheets for staff
Academic administration such as registers and student reports
Make sure the students get the best possible learning experience
This dual role involves working with the Teaching Manager (TM) to provide support to the teaching team, and to coordinate and oversee workshops with the Activity Team.
Main remit of this managerial role:
Assist the Teaching Manager in academic management and administration
Assist with staff training and support
Prepare and train activity staff to deliver ANGLO workshops
EFL Teachers are responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, EFL lessons following the ANGLO syllabus. ANGLO sessions promote the communicative approach with emphasis on speaking and listening skills.
Main remit of this role:
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that meet the needs of ANGLO teenage students
Embrace the communicative approach to language teaching and create an engaging, inclusive learning environment in their classes
